Help and Support
You can contact any of the UCU Bangor Committee members for general information, and can find helpful support on the national UCU website.
Membership of UCU also entitles you to the confidential advice and counselling services provided by Education Support, including a 24/7 helpline: 08000 562 561.
Accessing Support and Advice
If you have serious problems at work – you might be subjected to bullying and harrassment, be facing uncertainty at the end of a fixed-term contract, threatened with disciplinary action, or wishing to pursue a grievance – we have a team of caseworkers who can discuss the issues with you and accompany you to any formal meetings to provide support and advice.
For an initial confidential discussion and to be assigned a personal caseworker - please contact either Aimee Pritchard Robinson (President) or Dyfrig Jones (Vice President) in the first instance.
We are also able to call on specialist advice and legal assistance if necessary from the Wales and UK UCU offices.
